Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution announces awards

The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce the outstanding seniors in Logan and Mason Counties for the DAR Good Citizen Award. Each high school selected a senior based on the following criteria: dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. A certificate and pin were presented to each outstanding senior.

The 2025 winners are the following:
Macy McLaughlin, Illini Central High School, Guadalupe Andrade, Mt. Pulaski High School, Charlie Adriana McFadden, Lincoln Community High School and Sadie Williams, Hartem High School.

The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution has announced the outstanding eighth graders in Logan and Mason Counties for the Excellence in American History Award. Each middle/junior high school selected an outstanding eighth grade student for outstanding work in American History. A certificate and medal were presented to each outstanding eighth grader.

Carson Graue, Carroll Catholic School, Ella Hughes, Illini Central School, Cameron Wilmert, Lincoln Junior High School, Jakob Caudle, Chester East-Lincoln School, Eva Sanders, Hartsburg- Emden School, Sarah Benhart, Mt. Pulaski Grade School, Ella Roemer, West-Lincoln Broadwell School, Katelyn Ray, Zion Lutheran School, Lincoln, Addison Hall, Zion Lutheran School, Mt. Pulaski, and Madicyn Ogden, New Holland-Middletown School.

The 2025 DAR awards were complied by Gail Apel-Sasse. The Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the DAR is pleased to present these awards to outstanding students for DAR Good Citizenship and American History.
