Lincolnland Technical Education Center
(LTEC) is proud to recognize Angeli Johnson, a senior from Lincoln
Community High School as the September Student of the Month. Angeli
is the daughter of Elizabeth and Mark Johnson
Currently enrolled in LTEC’s Automotive Technology program, Angeli
has developed a passion for working on vehicles that began at home.
Growing up working on cars with her dad, she gained hands-on
experience and an appreciation for automotive technology at an early
age.
One of the things Angeli enjoys most about LTEC is the opportunity
to work independently in a fully equipped garage. She appreciates
having access to the tools and equipment needed to diagnose and
repair vehicles while gaining practical skills that can be used
beyond the classroom.
Angeli has become a leader within the Automotive Technology program.
Her teacher, Mr. Jon Graber, has recognized both her technical
skills and her ability to positively impact her classmates.
“Angeli has been an asset to our program for two years. This year
she has become a leader for the class, she has no limit. Angeli has
become one of my top students, not only this year but also over my
18 years as a teacher. I really see a bright future for her, and I
am happy I was a part of it.”

Her interests
extend well beyond the classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys
making jewelry and working on cars. She is also involved in
track, National Honor Society, and Math Club at LCHS. She also
works as a busser at Daphne’s Family Restaurant, balancing work,
academics, extracurricular activities, and her technical
education.
After graduation, Angeli plans to pursue her EMT and paramedic
license, combining her interest in hands-on work with a desire
to serve others in the community.
The Rotary Club of Lincoln sponsors the student of the month and
awards the student $50 for the achievement. Congratulations to
Angeli on receiving this award. |
