On Good Friday, Castle Manor
welcomed children to their back lawn for an Easter Egg Hunt. Two
Easter Bunnies and a giant pink Easter egg were also on hand to
welcome the children, pose for photos, and help collect the eggs.
The grass was a little wet from the recent showers, but the weather
was warm, and the rains held off.
Residents of Castle Manor had filled over 1,000 eggs with candy, and
employees scattered them across the back lawn. Only a few golden
eggs were hidden. If a child found a golden egg, they received a
special Easter prize basket. The children were divided into four age
groups. The youngest group was for babies a few months old. They
were able to grab stuffies from kiddie pools provided by Michelle
Bauer of Country Financial. Rome, who is 5½ months old, smiled as he
was greeted by the Easter Bunny.

Each age group took its turn, with
the oldest group going last. The Easter bunnies and Easter eggs
cheered on the children as they searched for the golden eggs. Larger
prize baskets were given to those who found the golden eggs. Carter
was enjoying the festivities while his family snapped pictures of
him with the Easter Egg.

After the hunt, families stayed to
mingle and take pictures with the Easter Bunny at the photo station.
They also enjoyed donuts and muffins. All Fluff was making cotton
candy. Harry, Evelyn, and Presley were all smiles as they were about
to enjoy their cotton candy. The blue smiles all around showed that
the cotton candy stand was a hit with kids and adults alike.
