Members of the Lincoln Elks #914
and the Lincoln Emblem Club #433 braved the cold and snow on
Saturday, December 13, 2025, to deliver food baskets to 95 families
and 25 seniors all over Logan County. Members delivered to Lincoln,
Elkhart, Mt. Pulaski, Middletown, and Hartsburg.
Names of families and seniors that
could use some extra Christmas cheer were collected from schools,
churches, and community agencies. Lincoln Emblem Club #433 partners
with Lincoln IGA to provide food baskets consisting of milk, bread,
eggs, butter, a ham, and several other canned and nonperishable
items. The baskets are assembled and members of the club volunteer
their time to deliver them.
