Eligible veterans, or those that want to nominate veterans for this opportunity, can find the application and further information at Tiny Home Application | CIVC ( or contact CIVC at 217-828-9366. To be eligible to receive a home through this program, one must be a veteran who has been honorably or generally discharged, does not currently own a home, and has the means to pay the expenses (other than mortgage) associated with home ownership.

Volunteers will also be needed as the construction on these new homes begins. The opportunity to volunteer will be announced as dates for the builds are solidified. For more information on volunteering or contributing to this effort, contact CIVC using the information above.
