Allen and Melody Shew celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on June 11th.
Allen Shew and Melody Edwards joined in a lifetime of love and
commitment on June 11,1966 at Weber Street Christian Church in
Urbana, Il.
The Shew's are the parents of Angela (Michael) Getchel of Lincoln,
Mark (Susan) of Lincoln.
Melody and Allen are blessed with 6 grandchildren, Jackson, Ashley
(spouse Zach), Alexander, Olivia, Kenneth, and Ivan.
The couple have been incredibly blessed to have 2 great-grandsons,
William and Finley.
The Shew's have retired from two local businesses, family owned
Chestervale Elevator and MKS JEWELERS. They both are very involved
with Jefferson Street Christian Church and various community
organizations.
Allen and Melody enjoy spending time with family, friends, serving
God, and traveling since
retirement.
