Logan
County Farm Bureau Young Leaders group hosted a kiddie tractor pull
Tuesday morning at the Logan County Fair. Twenty-nine children
competed by pedaling a child-sized tractor while attempting to pull
a weighted trailer.
Groups were divided into lightweight, middleweight, and heavyweight
divisions. The lightweight group started the competition.
Many friends and family members were on hand to cheer and support
the kids.
The lightweight group was very competitive with twelve participants.
Six did full pulls on their first attempt resulting in a pull-off.
This resulted in three more full pulls and a second pull-off was
needed. The final pull-off had only one full pull.
In the middleweight group, thirteen participants all made valiant
efforts, though there was just one full pull.
The heavyweight group was small in number, with just four
participants, but mighty in effort with two full pulls. In the
resulting pull-off, one made it all the way.

The top three competitors in each
group were announced and posed for a photo.

Mavrick Deppe placed first in the
lightweight category.

Elliot Bruns placed first in the
middleweight category retaining his title from last year.
