Saturday Business Spotlight: Logan Lanes

[September 20, 2025]  This week, the Saturday Business Spotlight is Logan Lanes, located at 1700 Fifth Street in Lincoln. The business is owned by Keith and Vickie Hasprey with Jessy Patton as the business manager. Logan Lanes employees nine people and provides countless hours of good family entertainment to hundreds of guests each year.

The popular bowling alley and eatery is open six days a week with varying hours for each day. They are closed on Monday like many other businesses in town. On Tuesday the hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday they are open from Noon to 6 p.m.

Logan Lanes was purchased from the Haseley family in 2000 by the Hasprey's and an unnamed business partner. Later the Hasprey’s took over sole ownership of the business.

The bowling alley features 16 lanes that were updated to synthetic material in 2024, two indoor golf simulators, an arcade room with a quarter pool table, two Diamond pool tables, and a bar and grill.

Special offerings and activities at Logan Lanes include Cosmic Bowling on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. and again from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. They also offer birthday party packages and “Sunday Funday.”

There is an in-house pro shop for ball drilling and maintenance. Bowling balls, bags, shoes and other accessories can be purchased through Logan Lanes.

The Hasprey’s are very pleased with their investment in Lincoln and Logan County. They say it was a win-win situation. The first win, they purchased an already established business that had been in the same location and same building for more than 60 years.

The second win was for the community because a very popular location remained open and has grown and prospered throughout the years. For the Hasprey’s it was a great investment and one that they intend to hang on to for years to come.

In addition, there is a certain satisfaction in loving what you do, and Keith loves to spend time with the customers, and he enjoys sharing his love of bowling with all those who come to the lanes for an afternoon or evening of fun.

When asked if they had any sound advice for new business owners or those considering opening or buying a business locally, Keith had this to say. “To own and operate a successful business anywhere, you must be fully invested. Your life becomes devoted and connected to your business.”

He also says that being involved in the community makes a difference. He offers Veteran discounts, supports local youth bowling leagues, and has hosted several benefits for members of the bowling community needing support.

Indeed, Logan Lanes is one of those wonderful businesses in Lincoln that adds personal touches to everything they do, making guests feel not like customers but family.

And remember, bowling and golf are healthy pastimes in addition to being fun, so why not stop in today and roll a ball or two?
