All aboard the Polar Express Experience!

MASON CITY - The Arlee Theater, 139 S. Main St., Mason City, will
present its own Polar Express Experience Dec. 19 - 21.
This annual family event will set the mood for the rest of the holidays
as we all listen for the tinkling of sleigh bells and ponder what we
believe.
Kids – and adults if they wish – can wear their pajamas, robe and
slippers to the Arlee Theater where The Conductor will punch their
ticket. Elves and chefs give each “passenger” hot chocolate, a cookie
and popcorn to enjoy while watching the classic Christmas movie, “Polar
Express,” followed by a souvenir from the evening and a visit from a
certain bearded guest of honor from the North Pole.
The Polar Express Experience will get underway at 7 p.m. Friday December
19 (with on-screen captions), at 4 p.m. on Saturday December 20, and at
2 p.m. on Sunday December 21 (with on-screen captions). Doors open 30
minutes before each showtime. Tickets can be purchased at
www.arleetheater.com until one day before each show or at the Arlee
during business hours, as well as at the door the day of the event while
supplies last. Advanced tickets are strongly recommended for this
volunteer-run local tradition. The Arlee Theater is located at 139 S.
