The Hidden in Plain Sight trailer has been booked for Wednesday, April 28, 2027 during the countywide track meet in Lincoln. The trailer educates parents and others about common places to hide drugs and other substances in the home. It is free to walk through and only takes a few minutes to peruse. A children’s activity will be available to occupy young children while parents look through the trailer. Participants will receive a discount coupon for concessions.

Tall Cop, who provides targeted community education about substance use prevention, is scheduled for July 20, 2027 at Lincoln Community High School. Additional sources of sponsorship have been secured. Plans are to apply for approved continuing education credit for nurses, social workers, first responders, teachers, coaches, etc. Registration will be required, but it will be free for those who live and work in Logan County. It will cost $15 for those living outside of the county. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Discussion ensued about where to source catering and how to begin marketing the event.

The Community Health Survey is live and takes less than five minutes to complete. It will be available for the month of October. It collects information about community needs and concerns to assist Lincoln Memorial Hospital in prioritizing services and fulfilling its mission “to improve lives and build stronger communities through better health.” Take the survey here.
