Marcy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son,
Carl; sisters, Sharon Marcy and Sara Jane Murphy;

Phil graduated from LCHS in 1961 and entered the US
Navy in July; then returned home in August of 1973.
He graduated Valedictorian in 1982 with his
bachelor’s from Sangamon State University in
Springfield. Phil spent 39 years as a Certified
Financial Planner, retiring in 2024 from his Lincoln

In January of 2016, Phil underwent a double lung
transplant at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis,

founded a trust fund for continued education needed
by the nurses in the lung transplant department at
Barnes. The fund quickly was matched and is now
fully funded, fulfilling his greatest wish.
