Service: A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Richard G. "Rick" Miller, 61, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Richard was born October 1, 1964, in Lincoln, IL., the son of Earl and Carolyn (Veff) Miller. He married Bonnie Skelton on July 11, 2010.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Miller, children: Jodi Trussel (B.J. Merreighn), Ashley Miller (Caleb Chavez), Justin Miller, and Brielle Skelton; stepchildren: Patricia (Matt) Durnen, Crystal (Jeremy) Screbeck, and Danny (Becci) Lyons; grandchildren: Jaden Trussel, Malikye Trussel, Billy Merreighn, McKenzie Merreighn, Seth Turley-Merreighn, Isabella Chavez, and Kensley Chavez; step grandchildren Logan Peterson, Porscha Peterson, Yasmin (Jose) Scrabeck, Ann Marie Screabeck, John Scrabeck, Bo Rediske, Cody Rediske, and Matt Rediske; 7 step great grandchildren; siblings: Earl Miller, Sonja Miller, Dawn Miller, Lisa Miler, and Phillip Miller. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, a niece, and two great nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
