Cemetery in Lincoln.

Obituary
Doris Myrle Morris,
93, of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Sunday, February
1, 2026, at her home with family.
Doris was born November 17, 1932, in Delavan, IL,
the daughter of Charle and Anna (Trago) Billington.
She married William Morris Jr. on July 29, 1950, in
Lincoln, IL. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Doris is survived by son, Paul (Kari) Morris;
daughter, Charla Bess; four grandchildren, Charles (Jaquie)
Morris, Lorene (Kevin) Hardie, Clarissa (Tyrese)
Lanouette, and Daryl Bess; great-grandchildren,
Caroline, Ben, and William; and her sister, Neona
(David) Myrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
William, and siblings, Ernest, Marvin, Robert, Allie
Mae, and Gerald. |
Graveside services for
Doris will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday,
February 4, 2026, at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
In lieu of memorials, the family asks for a tree be
planted in Doris’ honor which can be done on the
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home website.
