[February 11, 2026]  WILLIAMSVILLE - Dale Lee Halford, 78, of Williamsville, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Visitation:  Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 9-11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Service:  Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the church.

Obituary

Dale Lee Halford, 78, of Williamsville, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Dale was born March 19, 1947, in Bingham, IL, the son of Warren Halford and Lois (Diveley) Kruenegel.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet (Bauer) Halford; son, Aaron D. (Colleen) Halford of Williamsville; daughter, Angela D. Brooks of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Ashley (Grant), Mitchell (Lindsey), Hunter, and Luke; and one great-grandchild, Delaney. Dale is also survived by his siblings, Mike (Mary) Halford, Karren Suchor, Marsha (Tom) Grove, and Jill (John) Staff.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Michael Brooks.

Dale was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln. He enjoyed many hobbies such as beekeeping, mushroom hunting, and playing poker. Dale was a founding member of the Illinois Soybean Association. Mornings were spent with his friends having coffee at McDonald’s.

Funeral services for Dale will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Visitation will take place two hours prior, from 9:00 -11:00 am, also at the church. A family graveside service will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Williamsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale’s name to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
