on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at The Loft Rehabilitation in Decatur.

Obituary
MT. PULASKI - Gary Sablotny, 78, of
Mt. Pulaski, IL., passed away on Sunday, March 9th,
2025, at The Loft Rehabilitation in Decatur.
Gary was born on November 26, 1946, in Lincoln, IL,
the son of Walter Henry & Mary (White) Sablotny.
Gary is survived by his children, Michele (Phil E.)
Tremaine and Gary D. Sablotny; his grandchildren,
Kelsey (Isaac) Allsebrook, Jackie Inselmann, Shaylyn
Inselmann, Calix Sablotny, Lacy Tremaine; one
great-granddaughter, Rowan; and his twin brother,
Terry (Mary) Sablotny.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary enjoyed a variety of hobbies;
but one that continued throughout his entire life
was his passion for reading. He was particularly
fond of non-fiction.
A private family graveside service will be held at a
later date at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln, IL.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski,
IL.
