[March 19, 2025]  LINCOLN -  Sarah E. Walton, 21, of Lincoln, passed away March 15, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Visitation: Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 1 - 3 p.m. at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home

Obituary

Sarah Elizabeth Walton, 21, of Lincoln, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2025, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 1:00 until 3:00 with a memorial service following at 3:00.

Sarah was born May 17, 2003, in Lincoln, IL., the daughter of Delmar E. Walton III "Ernie" and the late Crystal G. Otter. She graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 2022 and from Missouri State University West Plains in 2024.Sarah was a free spirit. She was a loving, caring, soul who encouraged everyone to be their best self, and loved them for it. She loved her cat Obi more than anything. She loved gaming, cherry blossoms, anime, and Japanese culture. Her smile and peaceful aura could light up a room.
 

Survivors include her father Delmar E. Walton III "Ernie", three sisters: Jordan Nicole Harlow (Tarel Stancle), Kari Ranae Walton (Zach Gasparini), and Laura Kathleen Otter (Cyrus Miller), brother Zachary Michael Walton, her beloved cat Obi, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother Crystal Otter.

Memorial donations may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
