[March 31, 2026]  LINCOLN - Doris E. Oltmanns, 91, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Service:  Doris requested that her body be donated to medical science and no services or visitation were to be held.

Doris E. Oltmanns, 91, of Lincoln passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Doris requested that her body be donated to medical science and no services or visitation were to be held.

Burial will be at a later date in Zion Cemetery.

Doris Eileen Thompson was born on February 19, 1935 in Lincoln, the daughter of Thomas E. and Eileen Wanda Harbert Thompson.

She is survived by her children: James (Rosalie) Amberg Jr., Cindi (Michael Hanson) Kruse, Robert Amberg, Rod Amberg and Brandi Lantman; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one Brother: David (Sue) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edward Thompson and Thomas Thompson, and one sister, Joann Heidbreder.

Doris graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1953. She was a successful Broker/Owner of Doris and Associates Real Estate and was actively involved in the Real Estate business for nearly 50 years.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and former member of Logan County Board of Realtors, where she was a past president.

Doris was an avid supporter of Carroll Catholic School. Her hobbies included playing bingo, reading and keeping up on her Facebook and emails. She enjoyed special times with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School or the Salvation Army.

Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
