passed away 10:05 AM, February 26, 2026 at St. Clara’s Manor,
Lincoln, IL.

Eileen H. Volle, 98,
formerly of rural Mt. Pulaski, IL passed away 10:05
AM, February 26, 2026 at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln,
IL.
Private Family Graveside services were Tuesday,
March 3, 2026 at Laenna Cemetery, Chestnut, Il. with
Pastor Nick Blacklidge officiating. The family
entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with
arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of
Logan County.
Eileen was born September 21, 1927 in Cairo, IL the
daughter of Henry and Virgie (Lee) Smith. She
married Charles Volle September 9, 1945 in Chestnut,
Il. He passed away March 11, 1995.
Survivors include her children, Terry Sue (Robert)
Veach, Atlanta, IL; Sarah (Mike) Hall, Bearden, AR;
and Louis (Rebecca) Volle, rural Mt. Paulaski, IL;
six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin
sister, Pauline Stauffer; two brothers and three
sisters.
Eileen was a homemaker and a beautician.
