Larry Richard Green, 86, of Danvers, passed away on Thursday, April
2, 2026, at Bickford of Bloomington Assisted Living in Bloomington,
surrounded by his loving family. |

Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 10 - 11 a.m. at the
Mackinaw United Methodist Church.
Service:
Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the church

Obituary
Larry Richard Green,
86, of Danvers, passed away on Thursday, April 2,
2026, at Bickford of Bloomington Assisted Living in
Bloomington, surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services for Mr. Green will be held on
Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the
Mackinaw United Methodist Church with Rev. Jarret
Wells officiating. Visitation will be held from
10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
Burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery in Bloomington
at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Larry Richard Green was born on June 11, 1939, in
Bloomington, the son of Gilbert Russell and Mabel
Deatrick Green. He was united in marriage to Patti
Ann Lyddon on June 25, 1967. She survives.
Also surviving are his two daughters: Kristen (Terry
Puffer) Green and Erika (Mike) Jones; seven
grandchildren: David J. Morrow II, Katherine Jones,
Kristina Morrow, Parker Jones, Donovan Puffer,
Victoria Puffer and Lilianna Puffer.
He was preceded in death by his parents. |

He was a graduate of
Bloomington High School in 1957. He attended
Illinois State University in Normal and Union
College in Jackson, Tennessee. He was a real estate
investor.
Larry was a member of
the Mackinaw United Methodist Church and the
Prairieland Gardners in Eureka. His hobbies included
gardening, fishing, being out in nature, and raising
animals. He also enjoyed art work and collecting
antiques.
Memorials may be made to the Mackinaw United
Methodist Church or Wishbone Canine Rescue in
Normal, IL.
Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
