Janet M Thomas of Lincoln, IL passed away in Grayville, IL on
February 21st 2025. She is proceeded in death by her husband Darrell
Thomas of Galatia, IL. Janet and Darrell lived in Galatia, IL for
the duration of their marriage of 36 years.

Celebration of Life service at 4 p.m. Thursday,
April 17 (Janet's birthday) at the Lincoln Christian
Church with Pastor Ron Otto officiating
Fellowship and refreshment to
follow until 7 p.m.
Obituary
Janet M Thomas of Lincoln, IL passed
away in Grayville, IL on February 21st 2025. She is
proceeded in death by her husband Darrell Thomas of
Galatia, IL. Janet and Darrell lived in Galatia, IL
for the duration of their marriage of 36 years.
Janet had one daughter Melissa D Miller of Lincoln,
IL. Three Grandchildren. Kayla Hyde (Quisenberry),
Jacob Hyde, Ashton Rodriguez ( Henry ). Three Great
grandchildren. Natalie Hyde, Sophia Hyde, Briar Hyde
all of Lincoln, IL.
She was the daughter of Wilfred Dews, Margret Dews
(Sisk ). A brother Wilfred Dews the second. Sister
Doris Molt.
Janet worked as a CNA for Visiting Nurses
Association out of Evansville, IN. She also did
hospice care. Janet enjoyed taking care of the
elderly.
She was a member of Rose church in North City, IL.
Janet enjoyed time with her family, knitting ,
motorcycle riding , and long trips in her mustangs.
A celebration of life will be held on Janet's
birthday, Thursday, April 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
at the Lincoln Christian Church.
The service will be at 4 p.m. with
Pastor Ron Otto officiating.
A time of fellowship and refreshment
will follow the service.
