Obituary
C. Darlene Naugle, 86, of Lawndale,
IL, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at her
home.
Cloriena Darlene was born February 20, 1939, in
Lincoln, IL, the daughter of Ira and Helen (Laughner)
Overbey. She married Marion H. Naugle on March 1,
1974, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Darlene is survived by her children, Richard (Vicky)
Williams, Robert (Tracy) Williams, Elaine (Jim
Francis) Schaub, Doris (Steve) Burge, Candie (Ed)
McLoud, Carol (Michael) Hoss, Cherie Merritt, and
Christine (Richard) Huskins; her numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
sister-in-law, Luana Overbey; and brother-in-law,
Ron Ealy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,
Marion; her son, Mark Williams; sisters, Nancy
Overbey and Sharon Ealy; and brothers, David and Tom
Overbey.

Darlene was a life-long member of the
First Baptist Church in Lincoln, IL. She enjoyed
spending time outside, especially watching her
hummingbirds.
Funeral services for Darlene will be held at 11:00
am on Friday, April 25, 2025, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place two hours prior, from
9:00-11:00 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will
follow the service at Lawndale Cemetery in Lawndale.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in
Darlene’s name to First Baptist Church in Lincoln.
