Carole Leigh Pribyl, 85, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully
on May 26, 2026 in Salt Lake City, UT after a short illness.

In accordance with Carole's final wishes, cremation
has taken place, and no services will be held.
Obituary
Carole Leigh Pribyl,
85, formerly of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on
May 26, 2026 in Salt Lake City, UT after a short
illness. Born on April 8, 1941, Carole lived a full
and vibrant life. Carole moved to Fruita, CO after
retirement and spent the rest of her life there.
A graduate of Lincoln Community High School in 1959,
Carole built a successful career as a scheduler at
Lehn & Fink in Lincoln, IL, where she worked until
her retirement. Earlier in her career, she served as
a bank teller at First National Bank of Lincoln. Her
dedication and work ethic were evident throughout
her professional journey.
Carole cherished her time traveling across the
United States, painting beautiful works of art, and
tending to her yard with care. She was an avid
reader. She also had a deep love for her cats, Dac
and Boomer, who brought her great joy. Carole was a
wonderful friend and neighbor to those around her.
She is survived by her son Brett (Denice) Baldin, as
well as brother Jeffrey Bates. Carole was
predeceased by her husband Kenneth Pribyl; mother
Marlise Toston; father Robert Bates; and stepfather
Al Toston.
In accordance with Carole's final wishes, cremation
has taken place, and no services will be held.
