Christine Shaub, 66,
of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 21,
2026.
Christine was born February 2, 1960, in Lincoln, IL
the daughter of James and Vivian (Banister) Skelton.
She married Roger Shaub on May 8, 1982, in Lincoln,
IL.
Christine is survived by her children, Joanie
(Corry) Martin, Fred (Hayle McCawely) Shaub, and
Brian (Megan Goodman) Skelton; grandchildren,
Alexandrea, Savannah, Sayer, Leslie, Hailey, Rae’Lee,
Prezlee, Dalya, Vivian, and Trinity; and her
siblings, James (Anita) Skelton, Jerry Skelton,
Connie Haney, and Charlotte Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
brother-in-law, James Jones. |
A celebration of
Christine’s life will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on
Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. A burial at Lucas Chapel
will take place at a later date. Memorials may be
made in Christine’s name to her family in ℅ Joanie
Graber/Martin.
