Obituary
It’s with heavy hearts
we share the passing of Diane Doran, December 3,
2025 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was 69 years old.
Diane was born October 12, 1956, In Mason City,
Illinois, to Wayne and Patricia Eigenbrod. She grew
up on the family farm where she spent her early
years as an active 4 H member, cheerleader,
saxophone player and baton twirler. Her mother
Patricia, passed on to her a love of cooking, music
and sewing, that Diane carried with her throughout
her life. Diane was one of three children and grew
up alongside Michael and Marsha, creating lifelong
bonds that remained important to her throughout her
life. Wayne and Patricia embedded a deep love of
God, family and a strong work ethic. Diane always
credited her parents for the values they instilled
in her, their love, guidance, and example left a
lasting impact on her life.
Diane built an extensive career at Texaco which
moved her to Texas in the 1980’s. The Woodlands
became her home, where she met and married the love
of her life, Tom Doran. Their marriage was marked by
close to 35 years of love, friendship and dedication
to family, until Tom’s passing in 2022.
The greatest chapter of Diane’s life began when she
became a mother to Meredith and Makenzie. Her
daughters were the center of her world, and she
found her deepest purpose and happiness in raising
and loving them. Diane dedicated many years
selflessly caring for her two girls.
Diane’s life was enriched by her faith and service
to others. She was an active member of The Woodlands
United Methodist Church. Diane devoted countless
hours to volunteering, sharing her time, talents,
and caring heart with those around her. Diane also
found great fulfillment in cooking and was happiest
when preparing meals that brought loved ones
together around the table.
True to her hardworking nature, Diane embarked on a
second career as an internal auditor, bringing the
same dedication, professionalism, and attention to
detail that characterized everything she did.
Diane will always be remembered for her caring heart
and love for others. Her warmth, kindness and
thoughtfulness left a lasting impact on those who
