[June 29, 2026]  RIVERTON -  Michael Lee Robinson Jr, 57, of Riverton, formerly of Lincoln, passed away June 25, 2026 at St. John's Hospital.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Michael Lee Robinson Jr, 57, of Riverton, formerly of Lincoln, passed away June 25, 2026 at St. John's Hospital.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM Tuesday, July 7th at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Michael was born March 21, 1969, in Lincoln, IL., the son of Michael Lee Robinson Sr. and Suzette (Coombs) Robinson. He attended LCHS from 1983-1987. He was formerly employed at Saint Gobain, ADM, Decatur Paint and Varnish, and most recently, First Student in Springfield. He enjoyed nature and state parks, fishing, camping and boating. He enjoyed watching the races and liked to bowl and golf.

Survivors include his mother Suzette Robinson, his children: Gaige Robinson, Tyler Robinson, and Elizabeth Robinson; grandchildren: Paige Robinson, Paiton Robinson, and Paison Robinson; sister Melissa "Missy" Birdwell (Jason Harms); nieces and nephews Kyle Birdwell (Briana), Kaylyn Hutchison, and Kinser Harms and great niece Rayna Birdwell.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents Harry "Ed" and Virginia Robinson and Robert and Maxine Coombs.

Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Melissa "Missy" Birdwell and will be accepted at the funeral home.
