Michael W. Lenardt,
65, of Normal passed on Friday, August 14, 2026 at
Carle BroMenn Hospital in Normal.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a
later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Michael Wiliam Lenardt was born on December 14, 1960
in Augusta , Georgia the son of Frederick W. Lenardt
and Linda Leisch
He is survived by his children: Tammy Burnes, Shane
Lenardt, Mikayla Lenardt, and Austin Lenardt. His
mother: Linda Mecham , Six grandchildren, his
siblings: Ray Mecham, Gary Mecham, Jodi Beavis, Eric
Lenardt, and Toni Atchison. Several nieces and
nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father and
stepmother: Fred and Gloria Lenardt.
Michael served in the United States Army as a
helicopter pilot. He was a truck driver for Nussbaum
Trucking of Hudson, Illinois and later owning
Lenardt Transportation.

His hobbies included
fishing, nascar races, camping, Cardinal Baseball
and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcyle.
