Obituary
Terry Lee Snyder, 77, of Lincoln,
passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at home
surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be from, 9AM until 11AM Monday,
September 15, 2025, at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 AM also
at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Otto
officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln, with military honors.
Terry was born April 12, 1948, in Lincoln, IL., the
son of Herbert Jake Snyder and Matilda (Tackman)
Snyder. He married Patricia Ann Setzer. She preceded
him in death in 2010.
Terry proudly served his country in the United
States Marine Corp during Vietnam. Her served for 12
and a half years defending our freedom. He was a
hard worker, throughout his life he was employed at
Lehn and Fink, Cutler Hammer, Caterpillar, and
International Paper. He loved sports and played
baseball, basketball, ran track, and played football
in the Marine Corp. Terry enjoyed watching wrestling
and women's softball. He always enjoyed watching all
of the grandkid's sports, he was their number one
fan. Terry enjoyed fishing, bingo and casinos, and
loved his dogs, Roger and Zeus.

Survivors include his children:
Levette Shade, Theresa Laubenstein (Brian), and Jake
Snyder; Grandchildren: Brianna Shade, Abigail Unger
(Ty), Emma Cline (Ethan Moore), Andrew Cline (Jory
Wingo), Brock Laubenstein (Emily), Zadie Laubenstein
(Nathan Ladage), Grant Laubenstein, Hayley Aubuchan
(Jared), Kevin Snyder, Sylas Snyder, Jude Snyder,
and Willow Snyder; great-grandchildren: Kinsley,
Wyatt, Beckett, and Coy; sister Esther Snyder Smith
also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife,
and siblings: Doris, Marjorie, Barbara, Wilma,
Isabelle, and Dick.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's
Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at
the funeral home.
