[October 03, 2026]  LINCOLN - Victor L. Lowe, 71, of Lincoln, passed away October 1, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Visitation: Wednesday, October 7, 20206, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: Wednesday, October 7, 20206, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Victor L. Lowe, 71, of Lincoln, passed away October 1, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 20206, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 PMwith Father Gill Gandenberger of Holy Resurrection Church officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.

Victor was born June 16, 1955, in Terre Haute, IN., the son of O.L. Lowe and Joan (Reichelt) Lowe. He married Cynthia (Nash) on April 10, 1983. Victor served more than 30 years at Logan Correctional Center. He was a beloved father and grandfather. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed swimming and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Lowe; his children: Rebecca Lowe (Victor Frakes), Zannie Compton, and James V. Lowe; children by choice: Charissa Aue, Kira Perez, Lucas Lamb, Kelsey McCarthy, and Peter Lamb; his grandchildren: Shane, Noah, Isaac, Adam, and Wesley; his siblings: David (Laura) Lowe, Rich (Deb) Lowe, Sarah Lowe, and John (Natalie) Lowe. Nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial donations may be made to Hope on 5th or to the CIVC Tiny Homes and will be accepted at the funeral home.
