Obituary
Steven C. Eimer,
71, of Lincoln, IL., passed away on Friday, October
2, 2026, at The Loft Rehabilitation in Decatur.
Steve was born on December 25, 1954, in Lincoln, the
son of Ralph F. and Joyce E. (Johnson) Eimer. He
married Donna Fink on September 10, 1977, in
Lincoln. She survives.
Steve is also survived by his two sons: Eric Steven
(Erica) Eimer and Aaron Matthew Eimer; two
grandchildren: Annily Eimer and Roscoe Eimer; one
brother: Larry (Connie) Eimer; two sisters: Nancy
(Todd) Grober and Lori (Ron) Boyer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one
sister: Judy Schmidt.
Steve was a
lifelong farmer here in Logan County. He was also a
member of Holy Family Catholic Church. |
Steve enjoyed being
outdoors, whether it was deer hunting, fishing,
gardening, or working in his yard. Most of all,
Steve loved spending time with his family.
A visitation for Steve will be held from 4:00pm to
7:00pm on Monday, October 12, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A
graveside service will be held the following day at
1:00pm on Tuesday, October 13, at St. Mary’s
Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorials may be made in
Steve’s memory to Holy Family Catholic Church in
Lincoln.
