- Robert J. “Boo Boo” Hudspeth, 75, of Lincoln,
passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at St. Clara’s Rehab &
Senior Care Center.

Service:
There will be a private urn burial at Harmony
Cemetery in rural Beason at a later date.

Obituary
Robert J. “Boo Boo” Hudspeth, 75, of
Lincoln, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at
St. Clara’s Rehab & Senior Care Center.
Bob was born December 2, 1948, in Lincoln, the son
of James Hudspeth and Thelma (Werkman) Hudspeth.
Bob is survived by his sister: Connie (Philip)
Dehner of Lincoln, and his longtime companion:
Carolyn James. He is also survived by several
nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded by his parents, and one sister:
Rosemary Klokkenga.
Bob served his country in the United States Navy and
has been a proud member of the American Legion Post
#263 of Lincoln since 1969. He worked as a security
guard for the State of Illinois for many years
before he retired. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, he
also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, Bob
was loyal to his friends and family and will be
missed by everyone who knew and loved him. |
There will be a private urn burial at
Harmony Cemetery in rural Beason at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert’s name to
St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
