[November 04, 2025]  NORTH FT. MYERS, FL — Bruce A. Kelley, 64, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, November 1, 2025, at home with his wife by his side.

Obituary

Bruce A. Kelley, 64, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at home after a tough fought battle with cancer.

Bruce Allen Kelley was born April 6, 1961, in Champaign, the son of John and Frances Kelley. He was married to Mary Webster Kelley on October 29, 1988. She survives.

Bruce is survived by two daughters: Amy Kelley and Angela Kelley; sisters, Barbara (Gil) Huerta, and Joyce Cook; brother Wayne (Deb) Kelley, his mother Frances Kelley; sister in-laws Cindy (Ron) Fleshman, Carla (Eric) Laffey; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and Tom and Sally Fleshman who loved Bruce as much as he loved them. Also his dog whom he called his "little rat'' Gracie Jo - she was his faithful sidekick.

He was preceded in death by his father, step-mother Myra, his in-laws Jack and Phyllis Webster, and brother in-law Joe Webster.

Bruce worked as an Operation Supervisor for Fed Ex Freight LTL for 28 years. Bruce loved watching and coaching his girls as they participated in many sports. Bruce was an avid Cubs fan, Bears fan, he loved fishing at Clinton Lake, and he loved the game of golf. In his retirement years he and his wife enjoyed many new friends and all the fun the community offered. Bruce dearly loved all the support he received from his family and his friends.

Neptune Society is handling the arrangements. Memorials can be made to Carroll Catholic School, Lincoln, IL or a memorial of your choice.
