- Harry Earle Menzel, 80, of Varna formerly of
Kankakee passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in his home
surrounded by his family.

Obituary
Harry Earle Menzel, 80, of Varna
formerly of Kankakee passed away on Sunday, October
27, 2024, in his home surrounded by his family.
Harry Earle was born on June 24, 1944, in Poplar
Bluff, MO the son of Harry William and Dorothy
(Earle) Menzel. He married Jean Luise Hauffe in
August of 1966 in Lincoln.
Harry Earle is survived by his wife; his children,
Kari Ann Foster, Danielle (Tim Oswald) Menzel, and
Harry C. (Habiba) Menzel; his brothers, David (Pat)
Menzel, Michael (Marsha) Menzel, and Scott (Wendy)
Menzel; and his four grandchildren, Harry N. Menzel,
Samuel Foster, Maxwell Foster, and Zara Menzel.
Harry Earle was a long-time member of the First
United Methodist Church. He worked over 26 years
with the Kankakee Public School District #111 as the
Assistant Superintendent of Business. |
Services for Harry Earle will take
place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will follow the services at New Union
Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Harry Earle’s name
to the Lincoln First United Methodist Church.
