[November 11, 2025]  MT. PULASKI - Eileen M. Gasaway, of Mt. Pulaski, IL., passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home.

Visitation:  Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski

Service:  Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Eileen M. Gasaway, of Mt. Pulaski, IL., passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home.

Eileen was born on February 19, 1940, in Decatur, IL., the daughter of Everett and Dorothy (Gobble) Kinney. She married Jack Gasaway on January 14, 1978, in Mt. Pulaski. He survives.

Eileen is also survived by her children, Michael (Debbie) Lofland and Angie (Doug) Maxheimer; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her brother, Roy (Sue) Kinney.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her three sons, David, Rick, and Rodney Lofland.

Eileen was a member of the Latham United Methodist Church, and she was also a member and participated in the Walk to Emmaus Retreat. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Services for Eileen will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski with Pastor Steven Lobb officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm also at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Lake Bank Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made in Eileen’s memory to Zion Lutheran School or Latham United Methodist Church.
