[October 30, 2024]  LINCOLN -  Jacob Scott “ Jake” Snyder, 33, of Lincoln, passed away October 30, 2024 at home surrounded by his favorite ladies.

Service: Celebration of life will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Eagles Lodge # 2708.

Jacob Scott “ Jake” Snyder, 33, of Lincoln, passed away October 30, 2024 at home surrounded by his favorite ladies.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at the Eagles Lodge # 2708. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. and Eagles Rites will be performed at 6:45 PM.

Jake was born June 12, 1991, in Lincoln, the son of Scott and Dee ( Renner) Snyder. He married Mary Kay Daggett on October 10, 2020. He was employed at Eaton. He loved the people he worked with. He was a member of the IAM (International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers) Local 1605 where he was a past president. Jake was past president of the Eagles Lodge #2708. He enjoyed racing, four wheelers, Demo Derby, and spending time with his buddies. Jake had a kind and loving soul and was always willing to help anyone. He loved being with the kids, family, and his dogs.

Surviving are his wife Mary Kay Snyder, his mother Dee Snyder ( Chad Ollis), father Scott Snyder, bonus children: Dylan, Baylee, and Steven; sister Danielle Shima ( Spencer) and nephews Wyatt and Waylon; his beloved boxer and best friend Otis and canine companion Apollo along with several extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Judy Renner, paternal grandparents Elmer and Pat Snyder; uncle Jim Snyder, great aunt Donna Hatcher ( Nanny) and his canine companion, Booger.

Memorial donations may be made to Mary Kay to help with expenses.
