Obituary
Daniel Noel Grubb, 63,
passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at his home
surrounded by his family.
Daniel was born May 16, 1963, in Lincoln, IL, the
son of Norman and Rita (Felton) Grubb. He married
Tammy Dixon on March 22, 1997, at the Lincoln Court
House. She survives.
Daniel was an avid camper and fisherman. He made
sure to catch every St. Louis Cardinal’s and
Minnesota Viking’s game he could. Daniel was a huge
NASCAR fan and tried to watch all the races.
Daniel is also survived by his son, Will (Kelsey
Christian) Freeman; his sister, Sharon (Dan)
Ferguson; and his fur baby, Yoshi. |
He was preceded in
death by his parents and brother, Brian Grubb.
A prayer service will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00
am at the Lincoln Banquet Center officiated by
Pastor Larry Crawford, immediately followed by a
celebration of life on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home.
