Service:  Burial will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Obituary

Tracy M. Poole, 58, of Lincoln, passed away December 12, 2025 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery.

Tracy was born November 3, 1967, in Lincoln, IL., the son of James Poole and Sheryl (Miller) Beccue. He married Kimberlee Dullenty on October 15, 1999. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was on the inaugural cruise of the USS Abraham Lincoln. He served in the Gulf War. Tracy received the National Defense Service Medal and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon for his service. He was employed at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library where he was the Buildings and Teams Lead. He also was employed at the Exelon Plant in Clinton, IL. where he worked in security.
Tracy enjoyed the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Star Wars. He was known for sending funny memes and messages to family and friends. He enjoyed time on his computer and time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife Kimberlee Poole, his sons Brian Poole (Madi) and Tyler Poole (Samantha); grandchildren: Lyle, Ruth, and Georgia; Bonus Mom Susie Macon; brother Troy Poole (Jennifer) and sister Talona Hassebrock, and several nieces and nephews. He had several close friends who were like family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Readis "Pete" and Dolly Poole and Mabel Miller, and his parents.

Memorial donations may be made to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
