Cash Carter and Carter Farm Racing

[April 07, 2026]  Flat track racing is a motorcycle motorsport here in the United States. It involves people racing motorcycles on oval dirt tracks. Carter Farm Racing is an amateur flat track racing team in Logan County. Cash Carter and his father Darren of Beason recently sat down for an interview with Lincoln Daily News to share some information on one of their most recent races.

Cash is only eleven but has raced all over the country. Cash is a third-generation racer, with his father and grandfather racing before him. He started racing when he was seven but has been riding in some form or another since he was three. Cash said that his favorite thing about racing is “having fun and winning.” Cash has been racing on an 85cc bike, a dirtbike designed for youth racers. Darren informed us that they have been working on getting him a larger and faster 250cc bike, something that they were able to acquire not long ago according to a post on the Carter Farm Racing Facebook page.

Cash has won several grand champion awards over his time racing. He shared that his goal is to go pro. He also wants to break the record for the most grand national championships, a record currently held by Dallas Daniels at ten. Darren says that, while he fully supports Cash’s dream, it is nerve-racking seeing his son race so fast, as the 85cc bikes can go up to 75-80 mph.

Cash and Darren recently took a trip to race in Senoia, Georgia. Corey Texter Promotions held a flat track race there at the Senoia Raceway on March 20th. The trip ended up being quite eventful. Darren shared that the motor on Cash’s bike blew up in second round practice. Cash was very upset. Luckily, one of Cash’s friends, Odin Music, had an extra bike. Odin’s mother offered the bike to Cash, and Darren and Cash gratefully accepted.

They had to fix a few things on the bike to make it work for Cash, but once they did, they took some time to get Cash used to the new bike. Darren shared that Cash did not qualify very well for the race. Once the race started, however, Cash started very well. He did a lot of passing on the outside and ended up winning third overall out of twelve racers.

Cash is very excited to continue his racing career, looking forward to more races in the near future.
