Toppers and Railers lead West
All-Stars to victory in the “Bird Cage Classic”
Mia Clark named MVP

Alyson Murphy and Elayna Marten of Mount Pulaski and Mia
Clark and Grace Schneider of Lincoln joined the same team on Sunday
night and played in the 4th Annual “Bird Cage Classic” Senior Girls
Basketball All-Star Game at Warrensburg-Latham High School.
The four girls were part of the West All-Star team that also
featured players from Auburn, Pleasant Plains, PORTA and Olympia.
Derek Schnapp of PORTA coached the West All-Stars.
The West All-Stars defeated the East All-Stars 87-23 in the 6:00
p.m. game.
In the final game of the night the West All-Stars beat the North
All-Stars 59-57.
Mia Clark was named the Most Outstanding Player for the West team.
Carly Anderson of Clinton won the Most Outstanding Player award for
the North team.
