Piper Tyson going back to State

Mount Pulaski junior Piper Tyson will compete in the IHSA Class 1A
Girls State Track and Field Championships at Eastern Illinois
University in Charleston today.
Tyson will throw the discus.
Tyson finished in second place with a throw of 126’ 1” last
Wednesday at the IHSA Class 1A TRG Sectional in Maroa.
Tyson was just shy of qualifying for State in the shot put. She
finished in sixth place at sectionals with a throw of 34’ 6.75”.
