WLB golfers headed to the 2026 IESA Girls and Boys State Golf Tournament

[September 17, 2026]  Four athletes will be representing the West Lincoln Broadwell golf team at the 2026 IESA Girls and Boys State Golf Tournament in Metamora.
 
The girls tournament will tee-off on Thursday, September 17, 2026 and features Brooklyn Clark, Piper Craig and Sophia Struebing.

Clark shot an 87 at the Girls Sectional C held at Lincoln Greens Golf Course in Springfield.

Craig shot an 89 and Struebing shot a 110 at Lincoln Greens.

All three girls are in eighth grade at WLB.

The boys tournament will tee-off on Friday, September 18, 2026 with Kale Singleton representing WLB.

Singleton shot a 77 at the Boys Sectional D held at the Lincoln Elks Golf Club. Singleton is in seventh grade at WLB.

Curtis Conrady and Kristen Harmsen are the WLB golf coaches.
