Logan County hosts 2025 Illinois Association of Court Clerks annual fall conference

[October 09, 2025]  LINCOLN, IL — The Illinois Association of Court Clerks held its 2025 Annual Fall Conference in Springfield hosted by Logan County Circuit Clerk Kelly Elias. This signature event brought together court clerks and legal professionals from across Illinois for several days of professional development, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

“It was a true honor to host this year’s conference in Logan County,” said Elias. “The opportunity to connect with colleagues, share knowledge, and hear from so many engaging presenters made it a deeply meaningful experience.”

The conference began with a series of powerful opening remarks from distinguished state leaders. Attendees were honored to hear from:

• Supreme Court of Illinois Justice Lisa Holder White

• Administrative Office of Illinois Courts Director Marcia Meis

• State Senator Sally Turner

• Logan County Presiding Judge Jonathan Wright

• Fourth District Appellate Clerk Carla Bender

“Thank you to each of them for taking time from their schedules to share with us,” Elias said. “Their insights and perspectives set the tone for another productive day of learning and collaboration among Illinois’ Circuit Clerks.”

In addition to opening remarks, the conference featured a robust agenda of educational sessions on court operations, legislative developments, and leadership strategies in public service.
