Death Investigation
[July 25, 2026]
The Logan County Coroner,
Donald P. Peasley, has announced that the body of Ali Mustapha
Wahid, 79 years old from Addison, Illinois was found deceased by
IDOT employees while mowing on US Highway 155 near mile marker 8 on
Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
This death is being investigated by the Illinois State Police and
the Logan County Coroner’s Office. Autopsy was completed at the
McLean County Morgue. No Foul Play is suspected.
