2026 Elkhart Homecoming
Celebration announced for July 18
[June 22, 2026]
Elkhart, IL — The Village of
Elkhart is proud to announce the return of the beloved Elkhart
Homecoming on Sunday, July 18, 2026, bringing together residents,
families, alumni, and visitors for a full day of community
celebration in the heart of historic Elkhart.
This year’s Homecoming will feature a lineup of classic small town
traditions and new activities designed to welcome all ages.
Attendees can look forward to local food vendors, live
entertainment, family activities, community booths, and
opportunities to reconnect with friends and neighbors. Additional
event details—including entertainment schedules, vendor lists, and
special announcements—will be released in the coming weeks.
“Elkhart Homecoming is one of our community’s most cherished
traditions,” organizers said. “It’s a day to celebrate our history,
our people, and the spirit that makes Elkhart such a special place
to call home.”
The event will take place throughout downtown Elkhart, with
activities beginning in the morning and continuing into the evening.
Admission is free, and all are welcome.
