Hartem prom goers begin their Enchanted Evening at the Prom Grand March

[April 27, 2026]  On Saturday evening, 22 Hartsburg-Emden High School juniors and seniors participated in the annual Prom Grand March at the Hartem High School. This year, the prom, hosted by the Hartem Class of 2027 was themed “An Enchanting Night.” The prom grand march began at 5:30 p.m. After attendees were introduced, there was time allotted for mingling with guests and taking photos in the gymnasium before the group was expected to gather at the Hartsburg community building, where they would begin their enchanted evening.

All the attendees gathered on the Hartem stage. As they were introduced, they descended the stairs with assistance from attendants Kamden Pointer and Andrew Zimmerman. Each pair made their graceful journey under three lovely arches. At the end of the third arch, the pairs paused briefly for photos and to be applauded by guests.

The bleachers were filled with proud parents, grandparents, and other relatives and friends on hand to see their favorite young person decked out to the nines in anticipation of a wonderful evening.

As attendees were introduced, four young people left their prom partners to return to the stage. They were introduced for a second time as the 2026 Hartem Prom royalty.
