City of Mt. Pulaski public meeting

The City of Mt. Pulaski will
hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 5:45 p.m.
at City Hall located at 113 S. Lafayette St., Mt. Pulaski, IL 62548
to provide interested parties an opportunity to express their views
on the proposed sidewalk project.
The project will construct new and
replacement sidewalks to serve Mt. Pulaski CUSD #23 and will connect
to a network of existing and proposed future sidewalk routes. All
construction will be ADA compliant and meet all IDOT specifications.
The project area is defined as the
north side of Wayne St. (from Spring St. to Vine St.), the east side
of Vine St. (from Wayne St. to Cooke St.), and the north side of
Jefferson St. (from Vine St. to Garden St.).

The city intends
to apply for up to a maximum of $250,000 in Safe Routes to
School Program funding through the Illinois Department of
Transportation.
