Logan County Tourism Bureau
invites residents to help shape the future of tourism in Logan
County
Community listening sessions to gather
feedback on the draft tourism strategic plan
[May 21, 2026]
The Logan County Tourism Bureau
is inviting residents, business owners, community leaders, and
tourism stakeholders to attend a series of community listening
sessions aimed at helping shape the future of tourism in Logan
County.
The sessions are part of the Bureau’s ongoing strategic planning
process, which began earlier this year with a county-wide tourism
survey designed to identify local assets, challenges, opportunities,
and priorities. Feedback from that survey was used to create a draft
strategic plan focused on strengthening tourism experiences across
Logan County’s communities.
“We believe the people who live here know Logan County best — what’s
working, what’s missing, and what kind of future they want to
build,” said Molly Pickering, Board President of the Logan County
Tourism Bureau. “These listening sessions are an opportunity to make
sure the strategies we create are truly rooted in our communities
and shaped by the people who call Logan County home.
The draft plan includes recommendations focused on:
Better connecting and packaging Logan County’s tourism assets into
clear visitor experiences
Building stronger collaboration and shared marketing among tourism
businesses
Addressing lodging and other infrastructure gaps
Expanding family-friendly attractions and activities
Strengthening festivals, events, and year-round tourism
opportunities
Community members are encouraged to attend a session in their area
or in a neighboring village to review the draft recommendations,
share feedback, and help prioritize future tourism efforts.

“We know Logan County has incredible resources already,” says Wanda
Lee Rohlfs, Executive Director of the Logan County Tourism Bureau.
“As we reach out and combine those resources, we will be supporting
the communities and businesses behind them, connecting experiences,
networks, trust, and relationships that bring people together. We
want to encourage visitors to stay longer, explore more communities,
and come back again.
