During the month of October, staff at the Atlanta
National Bank participated in the pink challenge,
raising money for the American Cancer Society during
Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Staff who chose to wear blue jeans on Friday were to
make a donation for the privilege. At the end of the
month the bank had collected $139 for ACS.
The check was then presented to Karen Castelein,
co-captain of the Friends and Family Relay for Life
team, by bank president Neil Stimpert.
“We want to thank the staff of the Atlanta National
Bank for supporting our local cancer warriors
through their donation to ACS,” said Castelein. She
also noted that there were staff who said they would
donate every day if they could wear blue jeans and
at the same time support a very worthy cause.
Castelein extends her thanks to all those bank staff
who helped raise the funds.
