For Thursday, October 2nd, the Lincoln Daily News Paint the Paper Pink top picture is “Bee” Laurie Paige and crew from Bee’s Landscaping along with a special photo bomber. The large stacked pumpkin “dressed” in camouflage with a pink hue will be offered at the Pink Pumpkin Auction to Benefit the American Cancer Society tonight at Collision Concepts.

Bee is one of the many local businesses that have donated items for the auction because they believe in the work done by the American Cancer Society. Bee emphasized that belief when she named her little photo bomber “Hunting for a Cure!”

Please join Bee and all the other local businesses in supporting ACS by attending the auction tonight starting at 5 p.m.

Today is the day! The annual Pink Pumpkin Fundraiser Auction to benefit the American Cancer Society is tonight, Thursday, October 2nd at Collision Concepts, 1005 Macon Street in Lincoln. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a silent auction. The live auction will begin at approximately 6:15 p.m. Food will be provided by Nuthatch Hill BBQ and Collision Concepts.

The Pink Pumpkin committee would like to send out a special thank you to Ty Tucker who footed the bill for the electronic billboard on Woodlawn for the auction event. Tucker and his brother Cody will be the auctioneers for the live event on Thursday evening and the committee is looking forward to great things!

The committee also wants to give a big shout out to First National Bank of Tremont and Collision Concepts for helping spread the word about the auction with their digital billboards at their respective businesses.

The silent auction this year includes more than 100 items to choose from and the live auction will feature approximately 50 items, so please come on out and help support our local cancer warriors and survivors through your bids. Everything at the auction has been donated by local businesses and individuals with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.
