A couple of things Downtown Lincoln motorists need to know for this weekend. This afternoon (Thursday 8/27) assembly will begin on the 40 feet pool where the Dock Dogs events will be held. The pool will be located on McLean Street on the Logan County Courthouse side of the street across from the Logan County Farm Bureau building.

Friday morning, 8/28, all the downtown streets will close at 5 a.m. so that food trucks and other weekend features can be moved to the area. Food trucks are hoping to be in place in time to be open for lunch on Friday.

At the Tuesday night Lincoln City Council meeting, alderman and committee members for downtown events asked that everyone respect the barricades as they are there for the safety of the community and to help facilitate getting everything ready for a weekend full of great events.
