The Paint the Paper Pink picture for today is the Lincoln Rotary Club. We know for a fact that there is at least one cancer survivor in this group, but if you don’t know the person you might not guess which one it is. It goes to show that breast cancer and other forms of cancer are all around us, and we don’t know who is doing battle or who has won the battle.

The thing is though; we don’t have to know each and everyone of them in order to support them in their journey. That is the purpose of the pink shirt pictures published each year in October, to show our support for those we know and those we don’t.

This is our opportunity to show every warrior out there, regardless of what type of cancer they may have, that there is a whole community that is silently praying for them and hoping that their outcome will be as good as the one in this photo.

If you would like to show your support with a pink shirt picture of your business, organization or group contact Karen Castelein at Lincoln Daily News via email at ads@lincolndailynews.com.
